Had a Personality Dev session in office last weekend and I was to talk of Pessimists and Optimists. Something interesting that I read up on the heights of Pessimism & Optimism and the ways to construe people’s character:
Overheard After the end of a bloody war where the victors killed all of their opponents:
Soldier 1: Damm, we killed all our opponents. There is none left to kill anymore.
Soldier 2: Hey, that’s ok dude. Don’t worry. We will always find some more.
Now, after that whole half glass full or half empty thing, this one seems more appropriate at any lecture of human psyche.
