I being me…

There are times in one’s life when he/she is pushed to the absolute limit, testing their patience, in allowing them to choose between the right and wrong. There are times when you are fed up with all that’s around you and you say enough.

There are times when you hate everything about yourself – your behavior, your lies, your sentiments, your principals or rather lack of them, your ideology & your inability to adhere to it, your wily ways to get what you want, your wants, desires, your lack luster dreams, your goals and again lack of them, your inability to do what’s right, your ability to take the side of the “wrong”, your weak will to stand up to injustice, your lack of ambition to make a difference, your useless banter to change something and do great things and your fearlessness in the company of acquaintances and faithful.

There are times when a man can only be pushed so far without doing the right thing. There are times when he/she is left with no other option but to do the right thing.

There are times when he/she has to stand up and face the world courageously and do the right thing.

It might be difficult, it might be harsh. It will be tough and lonely. You will be hated and looked down on but then you have to do it sometime. You will be left with no other options and you will have to jump off the cliff…

  1. Man, seriously.. RDB is not worth it. It’s oversold. *Obligatory smiley here.

Just in case.. this was a serious post.. I quote an excerpt from The Sandman:

Delirium: That person. Farrell-Mond. What was he?

Morpheus: He used to be a God. When we last met, in Babylon, his sacrifices were dwindling, and many of his shrines had already been abandoned. I merely suggested that find himself another occupation.

Delirium: Oh, I didn’t know you could stop being a God.

Morpheus: You can stop being anything.

Just a conversation.. no implications. *Earnest smile here.
